Phrases, sentences...

So I think I am in love with the age of 3!!! So tonight I took a shower with boys. This usually never happens because they point out my privates and say "What's dat Mommy?" and I am not ready for that but anhow since Ken played with his band tonight and no naps, I wanted to get the shower/bath time over in a hurry! So they did great and did not want to get out. As I approached Nate, he stated "No, mommy, my hair still dirty!" Boy have they gotten smart! He obviousy was trying to delay getting out:) and as I dressed him in his p.j.'s he tooted and he grabbed my face and says..."Mommy like toots?" I said No not really and then he said excuse me! So amazingly cute!!! Nicholas was very tired and not making me laugh as much today, but thatis ok because everyday hold a new adventure. Anyway happy day to all and this momma is heading to bed:)

Advice

Ok so here is what I have learned! Don't answer to every beck and call your child gives you, this has lead to much anticipation of my Childs needs!!!! We picked strawberries today and had a playdate! Whew mommy is pooped:) goodnight all!

Almost 3 :(

Well, it is almost here. The birthday of my two little men. THe big 3! I really cannot believe that it has come time for them to turn 3. Not sure why I am having a hard time with the "3" number but I am. I think I am in a little denial, I have not planned a party or anything! Ken and I are well. We are doing a "7Days to a Better You". Not a "diet", but just doing something a little different. We are cuttung out carbs as much as possible, I say this because I am cutting out all carbs except powdered creamer (gross to some but I like it:)), only drinking 1 glass of red wine every other day, cooking and eating all recipes from cookinglight.com and eating by 8:30pm (which is early for us), exercising everyday and juicing for breakfast. We shall see how it goes to weigh in and measure on Monday! Happy Tuesday to all!

So the boys are talking in sentences! It is the cutest thing ever.... It seems they have really grown up in the last month. Just wanted to share a couple of phrases..
1.) mommy, I'ma a big boy now!
2.) I don't like that there ( poop on the bottom)
3.) I'ma not sick, I all better mommy!
4.) mommy sick, mommy go see the dr!

Ginormous!

Happy ginormous glorious everlasting holiday season! New word from the boys is " ginormous"!! They have had such a great Christmas and we have enjoyed it too! From " mommy, wook Chrismas yights", to " mommy, wook Santa!" the cutest ever. We expected pure joy coming from their mouths on Christmas morning but they were in awe:) I hope your holiday season was just as great. Love and peace to all

October.........

hi! Well we all have been sick for about the past 3 weeks. First me, then Ken, then the two boys and then mommmy again! Whew! Was that a crazy, hard week for me when both boys were running fevers and runny noses with a nast cough. They are steadily growing which is hard(did I just say that again? guess you get the picture!) FUN, and most of all challenging. Raising two boys at the same age, with different personalities, different temperments is EXHAUSTING. At the same time they are talking so much and they love kissing our boo boo's, still love trains, love their tricycles, love reading, love watching Thomas, love playing with rocks, LOVE SHOES, love praying before night night time and must have their kiss and hug before Ken and I exit the room. Last night we headed to a birthday party and Nick and nate kept repeating, "Mommy I wannago party, I wannago party!" It was absolutely the cutest! And I put wanna and go together because that is exactly how it sounds! Anyhow we are headed to a new park to play and eat lunch. Here a few captured shots that everyone was ooogling over, because they were walking and holding hands. What they were really doing was Nate taling Nick into walking to the bounce house with him :) Enjoy your day, tommorow may not come...

Hellooo... We are back....

Well it has been a while but since I have been absent and most of you have missed out so much on what has been going on. I am now back on the band wagon. A recent updat: the boys are 2, the paci has been taken away from Nate, we just made a huge journey (flying with 2 boys to Jackson Hole, WY), Nick and Nate love fighting, Nick has fed squirrels with his bare hands, whining is like an addiction here at the DeFoor household, we are not having andymore children!!! So that's the latest and greatest. I am going to keep this short as my chillins are whining, what do you know? Love to all!

So my little men are 2 months away from being 2 year olds and I am so sad but also so glad at the same time. It is such a bittersweet moment!!! They are both talking soooo much and are just the most amazing little boys. Of course Nicholas is very focused and very intent on getting what he wants and Nathaniel is very mellow and easy going and loves snuggling with his "momma". Nicholas says...."Mommmmmyyyyyyy". It is the cutest ever! So new words they are saying.....up, jet ski, down, yogurt, stop it, gobble gobble, nanna, poppi, gammy, poppa, big ke (for big ken), ju, claire, chet, bank (blanket), patz (for pacifier), go, oh there are just too many to name! We are trying to figure out a place to have their birthday party, so we will keep you tuned. Please pray for Ken!!! We may have big news coming up but please send positive vibes and super positive prayers for Ken and that all things will work out how they should be! We have been waiting on a moment like this and oh we are just too excited and NO...we are not pregnant!!! I am trying to talk Ken into one more baby, but we shall see....stay tuned. Love to all!
