20 weeks.....

Hello all...

I have reached the 20 week mark which is very exciting. I am growing by the day, hour and minute!!! I feel large and in charge!!! Yesterday, I finally broke down and bought my first pair of maternity jeans. My bigger size 0's just would not cut it anymore :)

I have been feeling great besides the backaches that have started. I finally took out the heating pad which is helping, plus Ken's lovely back massages help as well!

Around 18 weeks I felt little flutters and thought it was gas but the more I felt the flutters I realized it was the babies moving. I just love feeling them move around and kick. I have been trying to get Ken to feel them but everytime I put his hand on my tummy they stop. So we will keep trying!

Bella is doing great, she is so spoiled and she seems to be liking Charleston. Ken is doing great in his new position. He has filled his building for the first time ever and he has received so many compliments of how well he is doing. He is pretty busy there and he really has embraced this new position. He is leading a great team and has been very successful thus far.

We are moving next Friday finally!!! The truck is scheduled as well as the movers. YAY! I can't wait! Ken's mom is flying in on Tuesday to help us get everything situated. Then Ken's Aunt Judy and Rita (a family friend) will be arriving next Friday as well to help unpack, which we are SOOOO grateful! Ken's mom is throwing a baby shower for us in Asheville, NC on Saturday February 14th, love day! Then my mom is throwing one for us in Virginia March 7th! We are so excitind to get everything set up early and ready for when the boys get here. We just registered at Babies R US, Target & Land of Nod ( landofnod.com). Whew, now I realize why people say babies are so expensive!!!!

We have another sonogram that is scheduled on February 10th which is called an anatomy sonogram. They measure every part of the babies, so please pray with us that all is well.

Thank you all for your love and support and prayers! We will continue to keep ya'll updated :)

Love,

Ken, Nichole, Bella & The Boys

Update on The DeFoor Baby Boys!

Dr. Gregory let us know that both babies are doing just great and that they both are 7 oz. each. They both measure right where they are suppose to be, head measurements and crown to rump measurements! We were really happy with that news. I ended up getting some blood drawn to test for any genetic birth defects. I will kknow in a week the results of that test, so we are keeping our fingers crossed and praying that I will deliver 2 healthy, vibrant boys! I go back to the doctor on January 10th for the anatomy sonogram and to see Dr. Gregory again. Ken met her for the first time and he really liked her alot. We will keep you posted and have a great weekend!!! Our love to you!

As always, Baby B was ready to show off and as soon as the sonographer went to view his package he spread his legs. Then we went to Baby A and he decided to let us see as well. We are so excited and feel so blessed. I am going to lay down and take a little nap as I could not sleep last night ( i was so excited)!!!!!! 16-17 weeks

Turned 17 weeks today.................
These 2 were taken at 15 weeks............

This pic was taken at 14 weeks..

Just wanted to give an update on the baby bumps! Alot of things are changing with my body and it is quite magical. I am in complete awe being pregnant, I know it is not for everyone but I just cannot get over how amazing the whole process is! Ken is steadily rubbing my evergrowing belly and I must say it takes a little to get used to, someone rubbing your belly all the time. I love it though!

Nights have gotten a little more uncomfortable, my back has started to ache, my skin is steadily breaking out, which I have never had skin problems in my life! But it is all worth it.......... Anything for these 2 little babies to come out safe and healthy!!!

I have gotten a cold this past week and now it looks as if I have passed this onto Ken, unfortuneatly. We were trying really hard to not kiss, pumping his body with vitamin C, exercise, but it did not work :( We are working on alot of rest and quality time together :)

We finally found a great home here in Mt. Pleasant. It is a pretty new townhome with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and a 2 car garage. It is located in a "lifestyle center" which is fairly new to Mt. Pleasant and there are tennis courts, adult and children's pool, volleyball sand court. It is great for being able to take the kids and Bella on long walks and there are lots of families so hopefully we can make new friends soon! We move on February 6th and hopefully this is the last one for a while!!!

I have posted some pictures for those of you who are farther away than I wish! Love to you all and Happy New Year!

p.s.~ Stay tuned, we find out Tuesday the genders of the babies!!!!
