hi! Well we all have been sick for about the past 3 weeks. First me, then Ken, then the two boys and then mommmy again! Whew! Was that a crazy, hard week for me when both boys were running fevers and runny noses with a nast cough. They are steadily growing which is hard(did I just say that again? guess you get the picture!) FUN, and most of all challenging. Raising two boys at the same age, with different personalities, different temperments is EXHAUSTING. At the same time they are talking so much and they love kissing our boo boo's, still love trains, love their tricycles, love reading, love watching Thomas, love playing with rocks, LOVE SHOES, love praying before night night time and must have their kiss and hug before Ken and I exit the room. Last night we headed to a birthday party and Nick and nate kept repeating, "Mommy I wannago party, I wannago party!" It was absolutely the cutest! And I put wanna and go together because that is exactly how it sounds! Anyhow we are headed to a new park to play and eat lunch. Here a few captured shots that everyone was ooogling over, because they were walking and holding hands. What they were really doing was Nate taling Nick into walking to the bounce house with him :) Enjoy your day, tommorow may not come...

Hellooo... We are back....

Well it has been a while but since I have been absent and most of you have missed out so much on what has been going on. I am now back on the band wagon. A recent updat: the boys are 2, the paci has been taken away from Nate, we just made a huge journey (flying with 2 boys to Jackson Hole, WY), Nick and Nate love fighting, Nick has fed squirrels with his bare hands, whining is like an addiction here at the DeFoor household, we are not having andymore children!!! So that's the latest and greatest. I am going to keep this short as my chillins are whining, what do you know? Love to all!

So my little men are 2 months away from being 2 year olds and I am so sad but also so glad at the same time. It is such a bittersweet moment!!! They are both talking soooo much and are just the most amazing little boys. Of course Nicholas is very focused and very intent on getting what he wants and Nathaniel is very mellow and easy going and loves snuggling with his "momma". Nicholas says...."Mommmmmyyyyyyy". It is the cutest ever! So new words they are saying.....up, jet ski, down, yogurt, stop it, gobble gobble, nanna, poppi, gammy, poppa, big ke (for big ken), ju, claire, chet, bank (blanket), patz (for pacifier), go, oh there are just too many to name! We are trying to figure out a place to have their birthday party, so we will keep you tuned. Please pray for Ken!!! We may have big news coming up but please send positive vibes and super positive prayers for Ken and that all things will work out how they should be! We have been waiting on a moment like this and oh we are just too excited and NO...we are not pregnant!!! I am trying to talk Ken into one more baby, but we shall see....stay tuned. Love to all!

Locked the kids in the car....

So as I am waiting for a locksmith to come, I ask myself. How does a mother manage to lock their kids in the car at some point of their lives? Well I can answer you! This morning, I decided to use the kelyess start, which I never use! I thought, wow my car can be warm on this rainy day! How come I do not use this more often? Now I know why! As, my morning started off with 2 screaming boys, screaming for trucks that is. I thought wow , I cant wait to get them out of the house this morning so they can use up this endless energy.
So I use my grand keyless start, only to come to the conclusion that there must be a glitch in it! Ohh my! I loaded the boys up, closed the doors and LOCK! Yep, you are right, my doors are locked. So between fighting back tears and thinking, I am the worst mother there is, I calmly called a lock and key place and they are on the way but it is raining and there is a wreck.
This all eqautes to 2 screaming kids in the car, rain, frustrated mother and can I go back to bed! The joys of life, could be worse!

Time Flies by so fast........

Man, what can I say here? I just realized I have not blogged (aka..bragged) about my beautiful, smart, awesome boys! That does include Ken if yall were wondering. Ok, so I just realized I officially live in Tennesee as I just said yall in a sentence! Geez!
Anyhow, January has just flown by and we are now approaching February, which just blows my mind. Well let's see Nicholas is saying.."sticky" and Nathaniel is saying .."teeth". They both love to brush their teeth these days, of course I still have to hold both boys down at some point to really get the brushing complete so they can display their pearly whites! They are very selective about their shoes that they will wear for the day. In fact the day usually starts off with both boys in the shoe bin wanting to put on rain boots for the day. Oh, and everything is..."truck". They are completely in love with their matchbox trucks that The Grants decided to donate to us :) They have so many, perhaps we could play with a different one every day. Usually they have to eat, bathe, ride, and sleep with thier trucks. NO JOKE!
I have been in a littel bit of a funk lately,not sure if it the continuous rain or gray skies, so when I awake I hear those little birdies outside of my window. Now I know spring is on the way! So excited! With the boys walking we are gonna have a FANTASTIC SUMMER!!! So excited!
Well I must make this a littel short as I have to mop, do laundry and try to get to the bills today. Here are a couple of pics for you all to enjoy. Our love to you!!!!
